Donut Dwellers,
For too long in our beloved game, the amount of quest-experience you have
gained in your exploits as an explorer have remained obscured in relative
mystery, aided only by your assessment of brutality when you check your
<stats> rating. So that this can become less obscure, a new statistic has
been created for you to be aware of. In your <levels> list you will notice
that "quest-progress" has been added for your discernment. From henceforth,
when you type <stats> you will have a description of the degree to which
you have travelled along the path toward full quest experience as it can
be applied to your brutality rating.
Much thanks to Mercade, who implemented this mechanic in less than an hour
after reading my suggestion for it!

Nice one!!!
Time to log in immediately, screw work.
Code: Select all
As an explorer you have done countless legendary feats.
I got the quest percentage counter from the orbs nearly working in zmud was surprised I'm only about 75% complete. But a lot of those r smallish / awkward
Is the enough to retire lvl mean you are at the cap?

Yes - that means you've reached the cap.

Is this the games quest exp cap or is it related to the players file in relation to a previous post about someone completing all quests but not having the cap message?
Basically your average everyday player wont see the retirement level without extensive events even if they have done every single quest in game correct?

The cap is intentionally set higher than available qxp via quests. So, correct, it is not feasible for most players to reach the final descriptor.

So this is not the progress counter for quests, like "insignificant progress" and fantas? It's quests in all the lands completed over all time? Stat reset won't reset it?

Lol I bloody hope not!!!! I'd go postal.
This is telling you roughly how much qxp there is left out there for u to get.
So in practical terms if u have a target of getting to expert you need a target for q exp too to make that easier.
You could already kinda tell from ur brutality, but this is very nice to have info all the same.
As it puts into perspective how much going questing could help you if you aren't at the higher end yet.
Thanks very much Mr G

Oh, that makes a bit more sense. I'm not that deep in the game yet, so it's not very functional for me. Still, impressive it was made! Thanks G for the idea, and Mercade for implementing it.

This is a great idea. With the knowledge of how far you are I think more people will be motivated to go out and quest. Good job Mirandus.
