Dont cap players, cap specials?

Well last size related topic got locked.
Heres a different slant, what u think.
Who knows what specials scale off - dats wizinfo! So ok wizzies and dedicated powerplayers then
but not like the formulas are common knowledge.
You can safely bet however some at least scale off stats...
So while u can still be myth + infinity and beyond cap damage added from stats at a level.
Regular damage from regular hits not capped.
So being bigger still helps.
Just not the insane amounts it helps whoever is in powerplayer guild x.
And if a wizzy tells us all specials scale off a stat dont forget to tell us the balance of multipliers. heh

Tbh, balance the races alittle and the problem will become alot smaller, the more combat oriented races have a gigantic advantage due to insane strength and no real drawbacks for them

Or cap max racial bonus amount?
so its only a percentage until u cap it out at at supreme then it stays a flat amount

Tbh, even the stats out, the differences are gigantic among some races that it makes no sense for
I'm all for differences, but it shouldnt be to the insane extent that it is today imo, this would also even out ALOT of the specials damage

Nah not all even stats, but set a max bonus sure.
That kicks in around titan...
With the specials "scaling well", or not...
Seems a bit worrying in terms of balance.
Cus with no max and insane stat + an imbue + a multiplier.
Well that is how we get super myths.
Its not like they are just 10,000 days old and were more dedicated.
No they knew how to work the system better.

Nono, lets say
A goblin gains... 20% faster str compared to a human, take it down to 10% etc
The differences in strength are illogical and people should still get rewarded for size, but the stats are so messed up that the scaling goes awry.

Only problem I can see with settling the racial bonuses a bit is that then ogres may become very flooded.

Ok.
Capping specials is silly.
Why would you want to grow bigger then?
I mean it's like sure.. Go get bigger.. It won't matter though.
However balancing the quite frankly idiotic modifiers on the races is something I am ALL FOR.
This should have been done years ago, and is something I have been VERY vocal about for many years.

Well u still have all the bonuses u get from stats, HP, fatigue regen , low emcumberance and therefore faster combat speed, bigger mana pool and recovery. Plus the damage you do swinging the weapon. But yes u would get to a point were DMG from specials is as good as it gets...
Which needs to happen if anyone cares about player inflation.
Because brutality is capped.
So with infinitely scaling specials, and everyone on max brute it is then the very largest in the population that can grow experience the fastest...
And any differences in stat multipliers in specials across guilds equates to freaking huge DPS disparity.
So tell me again, exactly what is silly about putting the brakes on super myth player inflation?

Fixing the modifiers will set size, damage and more or less all of the shyte balanced cobmat system tbh, would make sure for isntance... Goblins of the average as eeryone else dont have a GIGANTIC advantage simply cause they have tons of str and con and no drawback to dex, that is kinda crazy tbh when those stats are what matter in combat.
