using web client on windows phone maybe 8...

One of my RP partners recently got gifted a windows phone probably 8, that will be her main device to conenct, if we get it working.

The web client does open when she puts the address, but when she presses enter when trying to login, it inputs an extra line, instead of sending it.

So at login screen, as she types "foo<cr>" instead of the game receiving a "foo", it instead does:

"foo
"

So anyone know how to make the client work on windows phone 8?

My main thought is to try a different browser if possible. I think Opera Mini is available for Windows Phone 8. I would try that in lieu of Internet Explorer as a first troubleshooting attempt. I do NOT think you can get Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome on Windows Phone 8.

problem is this player doesn't own computers at the moment.

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe that is a function of the keyboard app. I haven't used Windows Phone 8 since it was first released several years ago, so I don't remember if there are many (or any) options there, but it might be worth checking. Better than giving up!

No idea if it works, or if there are others, Windows Phone is discontinued by Microsoft I think, and the market for Windows Phone apps is tiny. Our web client works fine on my Android and Apple devices though. Strange that it does not work the Windows Phone.
