Oh yes ... the first ornament on the tree this year is absolutely a Genesis LPMud dragon by Denis Loubet.

Decorating complete.

It's very nice, but... it's... November!

In America it is traditional to get your tree and decorate for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. At least, where I live. :-)

We had to replace our artificial tree this year (it molded while in storage). Bought it the day after Thanksgiving and my wife set it all up that night. Then today we went to a Christmas Tree Farm with my in-laws and they picked out and cut down their tree. Seemed like half of the cars on the road this evening had a tree (or two).

So, all agree ... Cherek is just completely out of touch with normal Christmas behavior.

Very good. Carry on.

But, that's absurd! A real tree will be in awful shape on Christmas Eve if you put it up a month before... who wants to wake up to a sad Christmas tree with needles that fall off at the slightest touch? You North Americans should stop trying to reinvent everything. Christmas worked fine and now you're messing it up with your new ideas. Humbug!

Here is the answer.

Have to agree with Cherek, November is too early to put up a tree. A couple of weeks before Christmas is early enough.
