Sparkle Monastery

Through exploration and forum digging, I've figured out that there is a Sparkle monastery. I know it's location, I just don't understand what the "opening below the ledge" is. Am I supposed to enter it, or do I need more awareness? Please don't give me a full answer, just a hint will do. And if you don't feel comfortable telling me, that's okay.
