If one, while walking the goat in northern Ithilien of course, is unfortunate enough to be hit by 3 stat clouds at once, and become so encumbered they cannot even hold a ferret sent by a friend, let alone respond, before going linkdead due to some unfortunate issues, then what are ones chances of survival?
(bear in mind that one has some vampiric moss on their person, and as such will lose a level of health upon logon.)

I don't think it was a fluke. Statcloud itself does not kill you, the problems start when you couple it with some poison.

Well statcloud as we know it now is only from MM NPCs, which are equipped with a deadly poison as well. The stat cloud just makes you unable to fight or move as the NPC kills you with other spells. If you go linkdead statclouded in such fight...

The damage taken from the vampiric moss should have done you in if your hit points were reduced to 1.
