Academics were made before we got our relatively recent boost of spellcaster guilds, so, sure they could probably need some reworking to be a better school for players who want to move on from Academy to our more advanced magical guilds. And also be a better and more powerful option for new players, on par with Cadets. I still think it's pretty good for explaining how magic in Genesis works, so I think some relatively minor tweaks could go a long way.
Unfortunately we have a total of 0 wizards working in Calia and no liege. So, I guess that makes me liege and guild master of the Academy... but I can't really "assign" a wizard for it, though, so as with anything it comes down to someone volunteering to do the job. Yes, yes, I sound like a broken record, I know, but you know the reality as well as I do
That doesn't mean we can't continue discussing ideas though. Who knows, maybe someone will be inspired by it.
