You can be a dedicated templar of Takhisis, or what ever you are into.
I think it makes sense.
Personally I think it would make more sense for Mercs to be able to associate with the guild they are already a member of for an extra spicy title.

You cannot associate with the guild you are already a member of as it stands (you can kinda bypass it by maffiliating with said guild before you join it).
