Genesis against climate change

So...

We all know (or heard, even if your conspiracy theories says something else) that the climate is changing and that the increased CO2 emissions is a big part of the problem.

I think that we, as a gaming community should do our part.

--- And the way I see we can do that, is to end the eternal-login option. ---

We allow computers to stand running 24/7, so some people can keep themselves from typing "quit" and by doing that some place is burning some extra coal.
That is irresponsible and Greta Thunberg would say "How dare you!?" to those of you who do so.

What he said. Kinda makes the Legend-ranking useless as some people have just autoidled to achieve it.

Also, I think we should stop farting in front of our computers. Methane is way worse than Co2,
so break out the corks, guys and gals.

Since we're throwing out ridiculous suggestions, how about we just close the vampire guild so that the goodies will stop playing their alts and return to restore balance on the alignment spectrum?

*facepalm*

Silly me, they lost their "useless" teleports..

Correction: We should just close the goodie guilds now. Make the game all evil so that the biased wizards can laugh about the time there were goodies playing!

Undeads don't metabolize sugar and therefore are more carbon neutral.

Become an undead asap - it's good for the climate. :D

And I suppose they don't breathe either. Win-win.

The amount of CO2 released by the entire world yearly accounts for about 1%% of global warming effect. The other 99.99% comes from the compound effect of CO2 already in the atmosphere. 50 people not using their computers for Genesis for a few hours a day won't make a difference (they would probably use those computers for more CPU/GPU intensive stuff instead and thus exacerbating the problem).

Ahh... The UN giving advice. The world's most wasteful, redundant creation.
