Hi. This has indeed been discussed many times, and we
have looked into what needs to be done to make Genesis
better for players who use screen readers. Sadly, the
conclusion has been that A LOT of work needs to be done
here, and since Genesis has a very small volunteer-only
workforce, it is not really realistic for us to be able
to improve this part of the game. We would need a very
skilled wizard with a lot of time, and a strong drive
to make this happen, and right now we don't have that.
Things can change quickly, but currently it's just too
much work to fix all the stuff that would need fixing
in order to make Genesis support screen readers well.
