| From December 16 to January 3 the Wheel-Of-Fun was |
| spun a total of 3.072 times, which was almost exactly |
| the same number of spins as last year (3.188) |
| |
| 4 players (twice as many as last year) tried to harass |
| Julio, but after his first very stern warning nobody |
| dared do it one more time. |
| |
| While the Julio-harassment ratio remains low since he |
| started fighting back, the littering problem is sadly not |
| improving much. |
| |
| Despite the presence of a big red trashcan, 198 items were |
| shamelessly thrown on the floor. This is down from last |
| year's 246 items, but it's still not very impressive. |
| While many litterers appear to be young individuals who |
| probably thinks littering is 'cool', there are also a |
| surprising number of experienced and respected(ish) older |
| players among the culprits. Now, I don't want to name |
| anyone, but I will. Harley, Goldbezie, Aruman, Kvator, |
| Wolverine, Jaezred, Taro, Rache, Noxio, and Taran, are all |
| examples of people who will forever be branded litterers |
| of Genesis. I am tempted to "award" you with a title, but |
| I fear some of you will wear it proudly and show off, so |
| I won't. But if I see any of your names next year, there |
| will be consequences (maybe). Use the trashcan! |
| |
| This year's competition to decide who is the luckiest |
| person in Genesis was as usual really close, for the |
| second time since we startied running these events |
| there was a tie at the top. This time between Noxio |
| and Laurel with 11 points each. |
| |
| Just like last time, the winner was decided with a coin |
| toss. Both Laurel and Noxio were invited to watch the |
| toss, however Noxio said he trusts the Keeper (how |
| nice!), and Laurel scribbled down a short message saying |
| ogres dont care about luck and that Noxio can win. Well, |
| sorry Ms. Ogre, but you can't give away luck, it doesn't |
| work like that. If you win, you win, and you can't |
| decline it. |

| I invited Ckrik as vitness to the coin toss, and had |
| there been some magical way of recording what Ckrik saw, |
| it would probably have looked something like this: |

| Laurel got lucky(?) since her wish to give the win |
| to Noxio came true! Noxio is the luckiest person in |
| Genesis this year - contgratulations. |

| Speaking about luck, Montagu, who won the first TWO events |
| (still crazy lucky) only managed a meager 3 points on 15 |
| spins this year. Combined with last year's 1 point on 18 |
| spins, it seems like he is now out to prove the theory |
| that luck tends to even out. |

| Interesting. What stands out here is of course the streak |
| with four axes in a row between December 25 and December |
| 28. Hopefully he uses axes. Otherwise he also won a tasty |
| selection of good desserts. Two pies, one cheesecake, and |
| a bag of classic Genesis sweets. If he is a goblin grunt |
| I suppose the manure also counts as dessert. Lets hope |
| not. |

| As the the winner of this mini event Noxio will be |
| awarded with the title "The Lucky One", a title that will |
| last for 1 year. He will also receive a special lucky coin |
| that he may keep for 30 days. What that one does is for |
| Noxio to find out. |
| |
| You may claim your rewards in the Arch of Events office, |
| located in the Tower of Realms basement. |
| |
| As mentioned in the announcement there will be no other |
| rewards for this event, as there was no effort involved |
| other than visiting Sparkle once each day. Besides, most |
| of those who finished in the top have received plenty of |
| rewards from the wheel already! |
