Hello,
I always invite feedback and conversation with players, and my door
is always open if you want to reach out to me and discuss your concerns.
However, based on the note you posted, it seems like you are not very
interested in a conversation about it, but rather wish to introduce
your wild and far-fetched conspiracy theory that the admin is on purpose
changing the game to benefit the vampires, and most of the major changes
to the game in recent years have been made in order to benefit them. Well
done, you really followed the three golden rules for creating a conspirary
theory quite well:
1 - Pick the changes we have made that fits your theory and make it sound
like they are the only changes we have made.
2 - Ignore all the changes we have made that does NOT support your
theory. There has been plenty of changes that were beneficial
to other guilds and players, but you conveniently ignored those.
There have even been several changes that has nerfed the vampires,
like changes to fatigue, the nazgul encounter, more, but those
were also conveniently left out of your list of evidence.
3 - When there aren't enough evidence, invent some by just making
up stuff and presenting it like it is fact. I am pretty sure you
know very well that many of the things you said about the race changes
are plain wrong, but that would not fit your theory, so, I get why
you spun it the way you did.
Now, despite providing lots of evidence (according to you), you are unable
to answer the question 'Why?' which I think is quite important. Why did me,
Mirandus, Ckrik, Carnak, Arman, etc, do all these changes in order to
create this super-guild and give them all the tools while nerfing everyone
else? What's in it for us? The best you can come up with is that we're
doing this for 'obscure reasons'. Yeah, I agree with that. It's obscure
even for me, and I am apparently doing it!
Now, why are YOU posting this? I mean if you wanted to have a serious
talk about it, and hear what I have to say, you would have reached out
to me, but you haven't. I think your reasons aren't especially obscure,
and I have a pretty good idea about the 'Why?'.
Usually when people do this, it's because they think that by posting
a public note with a bunch of made up evidence about how corrupt and
incompetent the admin is, they hope to gather support from more players
that will eventually lead to us either fixing whatever concern they have
or that we step down from our positions and/or leave the game. In this
case, I guess you're hoping to have darkness and/or vampires nerfed.
So yeah, nice try to get stuff you don't like nerfed, but I am not
buying it, and I don't even think YOU believe half of what you wrote
either. I also believe the majority of the community saw right through
your post as well.
If you want to try again and have a real conversation with me, send me
a mail, a forum PM, or a Discord message. Try that approach instead,
because there are some well-known balance and playability issues with
darkness that we should try to fix, and want to fix, and perhaps you
do have valuable input to share. That's a much better way to get your
ideas and concerns heard than this.
