This discussion probably shouldnt be on this board,
but as I cannot reply on the forum to the subjects raised,
I am forced to do it here.

In your reply to Galen you have asked what the thoughts of
the community are Cherek, I will share mine:
I disagree with the conspiracy theory thing. I do not think
you guys intently chose to favour for instance vampires
and hose everyone else. I disagree with the harsh words
with which Galen ended his post.

However, it is also hard to neglect the results of some
of the changes that were made. Galen explained pretty
well what consequences of said changes are/were, and
they are also true if you do not measure them versus
vampire-abilities only.

A high-profile player ranted off about how things
impacted the Fire Knives, alongside some harsh worded
accusations and subsequently got deleted.

If you feel the game is in a better place now specials
no longer are special, that race-distinctions have
disappeared and everyone can be equal, and that
darkness-mechanics are odd but fun, and that these
were indeed the intended results then you have a job
well done. However, if these changes were intended
to favour no one in particular, then the results say
otherwise.

You put motive behind Galens post, I cannot judge
what his intentions were, but I am with Goldbezie on
this one: Galen probably like you cares about these
realms, and addresses serious concern. My personal
motive for writing this has nothing to do with
guildaffiliations or grudge, I disagree with the road taken
because I feel the game became more bland. It still is
a neat place and lots of cool content was added, and
for sure there were also a number of good decisions
made on mechanics, unfortunately for me I think the
big ones were off.

This is just an opinion of an old fart, who in fact
appreciates the effort you guys put in.
