Re: Changes to equipment decay implemented

I like it. This will, in time, cure most of the diseases. I do question the length of combat-use though. Effective grind is 10-12 hours per day, which limits/prohibits enjoyment of particularly high investments like glittering stones. Now I like the limit that's been set on age, but I'd rather see c...

Re: Perma-saving items

Praising foreversave is easy. It's convenient, you get to keep your uber gear basically forever, and you can compound more and more imbues as time goes by untill you've run out of body locations to put them. Ofcourse, any egosentric fibre of my being wants to keep this system so I can eventually rul...

Re: Perma-saving items

Any Imbuement make items last longer in combat-time. The rarer the imbue, the longer it lasts - part from ordinary combat wear ofcourse. That's different.

Solved.

But more hours general. Important!

Re: Perma-saving items

..I do agree that there were good things with the old system too, and I have to admit I was quite skeptical about this change as well. If you would go back to look at my own arguments before the change you would see that I strongly argued for keeping the old system for all magical EQ, and only let ...

Re: Perma-saving items

But it's not only newbies who benefit from the "save on person"-system. That's just one of several benefits with things saving on a player. Other benefits that would go away if we reverted: - You don't need to gear up every time you want to play (unless you're in a guild that demands it). - Less ne...

Re: Perma-saving items

Wouldn't it be easier to implement, and have the same end-result, if you simply reverted back to the old system, but increased the overall chance of an item saving? And if newbies losing their EQ is a problem, give the newbie-pin a function that overrides the core mechanic and save all inventory reg...
