actually after the exp change a few huge NPC's give better exp than a lot smaller ones ... or so is my feelingamberlee wrote:MM's can never grind as good as a melee occ guild..
And thats a fact.
MM can take down huge NPCs solo..
Thats also a fact.
Exactly.Makfly wrote:The Morgul Mages are a great roleplaying guild, with years of Genesis-generated lore, a demanding but roleplaying-wise fun way through the ranks and a very rich setting to play in to.
But one thing is roleplay and another thing is PvP - Don't mix them together.
The Society shouldn't have any kind of edge in PvP, just because it has alot of (mostly) player-made roleplaying elements in place, that other guilds do not.
Those roleplaying elements are there to facilitate roleplaying in all members and encourage a certain style of roleplaying with outsiders as well.
It is not a filter by which unmatched PvP-power should be doled out to those that decides to join & go through the ranks.
Please, balance all OCC guilds PvP-power against each other.
Only real way to research this would be to actually join the MM. I probably wont so all I can share is my views from seeing MMs in action, and fighting them. Or, not much of fighting, rather being murdered by them. And such opinions should also be valued I think. And from where I am standing MMs dont seem very well balanced towards other spellcasters or fighters.Kas wrote:If you ain't willing to sacrifice for this "power", then perhaps it's not that significant/attractive in the first place?
Cherek: I will leave your questions unanswered, and leave them for you to find out ingame (or something), as I feel this is not the time nor the place for such. Prefereably, do some research ingame or something.
Things that "seems" may be quite misleading, particulary regarding the grinding question since gifts related or involved may have elements not visible for the regular bystander (thus may give the wrong impression) that alters how it actually works.
I am certain, that everyone would have the same level of respect towards the Society if they were properly balanced towards other guilds in the game.Makfly wrote:The Morgul Mages are a great roleplaying guild, with years of Genesis-generated lore, a demanding but roleplaying-wise fun way through the ranks and a very rich setting to play in to.

Cant you spread the word then? Post a note?Johnny wrote:For people who believe that the MM are overpowered in PvP I believe you are mistaken, just have to know how to handle one.
