Player initiated events - Aloranna's tourney

Kudos to Aloranna for putting together the tournament event. It goes to show what can be done when a player is serious about doing something special in game.

I'll let her speak for herself in terms of preparations, promotions, and effort, but as someone who participated (as a spectator - no vile magic in the arena! ), I found it great fun. Also, I have to give a lot of credit to the players who participated. That people could stay in role and yet bend themselves just enough to be in the room with 'hated enemies' was very well done.

I won't belabor the issue, but wanted to start this thread to give people a chance to talk about what they liked, disliked, would improve, and most importantly to share ideas about events that can really potentially encompass all of the game at once, while still maintaining a sense of RP.

The tournament was a splendor! Kudo's to the forces of evil that defeated Rhynox and Juliana in sound fashion. A big thank you to Aloranna for running the event. Manowar, it was my honor to be at your side in battle. Hopefully your captain witnessed the power our guilds hold when teamed. Even the mythical Rhynox was no match for us!

As for the knights, Juliana, I must give you credit for the courage you showed by challenging me in combat. If only Daniel could muster up the discipline to do the same. Ah well, maybe next time?

I hope those who stayed enjoyed the treats brought by the Blue Wing. Sardines are a personal favorite!

The tournament was outstanding! I was only a spectator, like a couple others but I had a great time. The battles were fun to watch and there was a respectful rivalry. The strange foods brought by others were intriguing but given they were not to my preference I didn't give them a try. Thank you to Alorrana for planning and running this event and thank you to all those who provided such fascinating battles to watch!

Thanks for the sweet remarks and inadequate ones Bromen for I did muster up the discipline, I see no shame in my battles with Rhynox, Zingil and Alorrana, they are all formidable and yet honouable. They all bested me that day.

Nay, no wizards was there and no special uber items to win.. I spend 800 plats on Ah for items for the lottery tho..

Cherek came down to speak and cheer for us.. Ofc i made sure to whack him with my shield hehe
