With the sneak skill we can sneak north etc.
Testing it further up and down works as well as out.
Which is to be expected as these are all still obvious exits.
But I can't get sneak to work with enter tent, climb cliff, board ship, disembark etc
The sneak command doesn't recognise those as directions.
Get a "sneak where" msg back.
Would it be possible to "fix" this?
Asking since they all seem to work with autosneak, but I don't think the intent of autosneak is to be able to sneak more places, just to do it automatically?
Extending sneak command to work with non obvious dirs ?

I thought Autosneak was made to actually made it possible to truely be sneaky, and the rest of us, would fairly limited in it.Tarax the Terrible wrote:Asking since they all seem to work with autosneak, but I don't think the intent of autosneak is to be able to sneak more places, just to do it automatically?
If it's made possible for everyone to sneak around everywhere, then I sure hope the Autosneak guilds don't pay guildtax for the ability to Autosneak.
Hell, since it's so difficult to be sneaky due to widespread high Awareness and many locations/NPC being made "sneak/hide-proof", I hope they're not really taxed much for their sneak/hide skill either

At least I know I was fairly disappointed when I tried the Merc/Thief combo.
