Just wondering if we can spice the game up by sprucing up the bosses.
Was thinking for Vermi's fight, he could mount his dragon at barely alive. If the person is soloing, he would have to defeat the dragon and vermi. If he was teamed, one can engage the dragon and the other vermi.
For Loran, I was thinking He could have some sort of water damage spell like, "Loran calls upon the tide to slam you with a powerful wave." Maybe it could cause a reverse bounce type of situation.
I'd just like to see less vanilla encounters. They don't need to necessarily be harder to kill, just a bit more creative encounters.

Re: Boss fights
I think it won't be implemented because the same reason - someone must code it.
Unless You wiz and code it yourself.

Re: Boss fights
I'm sure I can hire someone to do it if that was acceptable.
Re: Boss fights
How about if a boss sends a messenger to online members of the same guild that they are under attack?
Would be kinda cool.

Re: Boss fights
How about just change the existing bosses?
From what I see on this forums, one of the biggest problems now is not really the fact that some people are huge, the real problem is that those huge people can go around solo and get their hands on the best equipment, giving them ridiculous fighting capabilities and allowing them to grind pretty much anything they want.
Imagine if all the current NPCs who hold the best equipment would be beefed to the point where Balrog would seem easy pickings in comparison. All that with a twist of course. If you go solo at such NPC you can't do anything, but if you bring the team with you this NPC will be scaled back down, allowing for it to be killed. Also, such NPCs should give custom cxp reward, making it more favorable to team up and kill them instead of grinding some area for an hour for example. I believe that every big char would be happy to see their progress level increase after just one kill.
With one move you get:
- restricted access to the top equipment
- need to organize (and socialize)
- a form of end-game content (each npc with great eq becoming a mini-instance really)
- more incentive to pursue team-based goals as opposed to solo grind
You could even go further with that and make best grind spots like that (ie: not possible to do without team of size at least x players of mortal level at least y).
Even discovering how many people and of what size would be needed for certain areas would be fun in itself.

I fear no evil for I am fear incarnate.
