Prog levels

Post by gurgel » 23 Nov 2013 16:39

Hope someone can shed some light on this...
Lets say i do a quest and recieve minimal quest progress.
Then i go grinding and recieve minimal "normal" progress.
Are these progresses equal...? Minimal quest prog and minimal normal prog from grinding....

Quest experience combined with combat XP decide your brute and size, the more quest xp the lower brute, its a silly concept I know but still thats how its always been :P
So quest XP is worth more since it makes you able to grow faster from killing

actually gurgel touches a point I saw recently:
quests started to give more progress levels than before, but I doubt their exp values changed - I rather think the display changed
so yeah - the question is valid imo:
is minimal prog the description of (example) 1 bazylion combat exp OR 1 bazylion quest exp
or do they differ and
minimal prog is 1 bazylion combat exp but 1 pierdylion quest exp?

We have two progress bars, one for general and combat xp and one for quest xp. And they don't mix.
I have just made average prog on the qxp progress bar but minimal on the normal progress bar. Knowing how "big" the quests are that I made I doubt they would even reach the amount of xp that is needed for a minimal in combat xp.

So, two different progress bars that don't mix. The levels have the same names but they can't be the same amount of xp.

No they most definitely are not the same amount of XP. I think it's pretty confusing. Especially since the fairly new quest XP bar is maxed out pretty easy. Many quests, or events for that matter, will show up as "fantastic progress". So you'll have no way to measure how much XP a quest or event gave you when the reward is more than "fantastic progress". I think either we should use the same scale, as we did before (but keep two different bars), or set the quest XP scale so that the biggest quest XP reward you can get is "fantastic", and everything else is below that.

It seems like i have had my question answered.
The both prog bars doesnt match at all.
And as kiara quoted, the quest prog is way to easy to max out.
The conclusion to this is that minimal quest prog is less XP then minimal normal prog.
