Maybe you should see a bit on Neidar defencive abilities.
And how 1 of them was winning over 4 calians in a straight up slug match.

Same size calians? With high quality eq?
No, but 4 over champ couldn't hurt him. The guild is coded to be very different from other guilds in that they aren't designed to avoid blows, but to absorb them. Like a built in, more powerful, runeshield. There are significant bonuses to AC, above and beyond normal gear, which make them amazing tanks. Add in Irk's con and the ridiculous gear he had and yeah, melee can't hurt him.

But the other side of the coin is, he didn't really hurt them, either. That's the tradeoff and having had extensive experience as a Neidar, the real drawback. Great guild though. Best of the goodie guilds by a long shot in terms of feeling the part, the potential, etc.

Near melee immunity?

strange how different "winning" is defined
similar to "winning" over MM - you survived = you won?

so Irk survived (among other idiotic attempts) such attacks from Calians
set1:
gigantic sword + poleaxe + some smallfry merc healing (and eventually dying at TT)
he hurt one Calian attacker but was too hurt to continue when attacker MBed
set2:
2 sleek curved swords (lol!) + ancient dragon-coiled halberd (LOL!)
"the gear was there"

which attack are we discussing in this hijack now?

"This is so much fun!" (tm. hobbit messengers) to discuss such things with you guys!!! :D

far from it, but we are tough to kill, especially with my con and imbues on me then.
However I had to run, cuz i was BS like Habiki was. Later Habiki went after me to TT with half-elf, who unfortunately died there, cuz trolls blocked him. What a silly idea to go there with such small player

Comming from a member of a guild which just got:
1. block better than other (specialized) guilds
2. stun better than other (specialized) guilds
3. disarm better than other (specialized) guilds
4. dps better than other (specialized) guilds
5. stealth better than other (specialized) guilds
6. transportation better than other (specialized) guilds
7. according to the logs I saw here - even a defensive ability that looks EXACTLY the same as Neidars' (another thing you got from a specialized guild) - maybe it's not a MM ability but something else, but I didn't see anyone else using it
8. someone clearly forgot to give you healing!!! ... whoops sorry, I'll take that to suggestions

I think it wasn't envy that made you write your question, or?

Not at all.

Size + gear + imbuements + potions + con and guild speciality being touch as a rock, I have no issues with the accumulation as long as the player don't cross into the realm of immortality, which I don't think Neidars do yet despite people saying they are practically immune to melee damage.

Just a layman opinion ofcourse, not really an expert on those bricks of bearded iron. :)

Just to back Irk's point up about the imbues he had -- when you take a strong defensive guild, add 3XX con and healing imbues, he's going to be very, very tough. I heard from a friend of a friend that given the guild, etc. it was one of the most impressive arrays of imbues he'd ever seen. Imbues have already been nerfed, though... Not nice to have Irk ext obliviated with multiple healing imbues :P

Yeah, I assumed as much.

The Niedar recode is working exactly as designed - best tanks in the game. Add fantastic imbuements and mythic proportions in stats, and you have something very difficult to beat, but which also isn't likely to kill you very quickly.

Mmmmmm ... pie ...
