Re: War
A road across a dark, gloomy forest in the southwestern parts of Anorien in
Gondor. A sprinkling of Elbereth's stars can be seen twinkling high above
Middle-Earth. It is night in Anorien. The moon, now past full, still casts a
serviceable white light. You are inside the Druedain Forest, a gloomy place
with tall trees. This is said to be where the Druedain live, a strange tribe of
wild men still living in the stone-age. The Rohirrim have not been particularly
friendly to the Druedain, so better beware. The road continues east and west.
There seems to be a track of some kind going south through the forest here.
There are two obvious exits: east and west.
Been awhile since I visited this part of Middle Earth. I tried to stay as long as possible, but the smell of cowards and unbathed humans and elves was too strong. I'll come back in a week or so to see if the ranger corpses I collected made the area smell better. I'm sure the orcs and uruks lurking about are feeling safe in their homes. Relieved for one night when they don't have to worry about destructive and thieving rangers lurking about.

I find it striking that you were mainly LinkDead for the whole day yesterday, and until 3 AM GenesisLocal, then suddenly you spent "long" time outside our Apprentice headquarters....
You remind me of someone, his name is Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf. Some years ago his work got him nicknamed "Baghdad Bob", but only a short time later, this was changed to "Comical Ali". You seem also to place great forces various places, where noone have seen them. Oh, I don't doubt you took a moment to stop on he road in Anorien, so that you could capture the beautiful scenery before moving on, but staying there for a whole night, doubt that, not even a MiddleEarth night.
Flee you fools!
Re: War
Greetings Everyone,
I come with good news! The death of two Rangers this day is a means for celebration!
How you ask? It was something like this.
I noticed horns blowing throughout Sanction and ran to the defense of my guildhall! Lo and behold, there were several Rangers attacking my peaceful forces! I ran to the racks and engaged these rogues with fierce determination and epic courage. I attacked their leader, Nemi, with great force and skill. She was no match for a soldier of my size or experience. Her eyes begged for compassion, and being the caring leader I am, I granted her a swift death at the end of my Gigantic Steel Broadsword.
Yes, against all odds, out numbered and alone, I killed Nemi. I joyously spat in her face and welcomed combat 3 to 1 and emerged victorious!
The battle wasn't over. Our allies Cassius and Myst also came to aid the Blue Dragonarmy, warned the attackers to leave, and engaged our foes. With skillful maneuvering, Myst and Cassius blocked the exits and decimated the Ranger Manglor who soon disappeared in a puff of smoke. The blood and brains of Manglor wonderfully displayed on Cassius's Heavy Steel Club. The rogues carried great equipment which will now adorn the racks of the honorable Angmar through the storm to come.
The ties between our two armies has grown stronger with these kills! Takhisis is smiling at the futility of our enemies and the blood in our city.
Nemi, I can no longer call you a coward. You stood there and took heaps of damage like the heroine you are again. Although, I am not sure it was your courage that made you stand your ground, or the stunning effect of seeing your own blood and guts leaving your body so quickly. Probably the latter.
*cackle*
What a glorious day for our Dark Queen and the forces of two armies combining their might for the good of the realms!
Perhaps our enemies will see this war against us is futile and will acknowledge their mistakes.
Perhaps not, I wish for the head of Aizorana next. It will not stop until your captain, The disgraced headless Nemi, formally surrenders on the Sparkle board to the might of the Blue Dragonarmy and our allies.
*grin*
What a great day indeed!

Yup, we really have to congratulate Cassius of the AA for this brilliant job!Sanction Sam wrote:Greetings Everyone,

Someone noticed horns, whilst doing nothing until of course Cassius came and let him know, then he tried to bounce us before begging Cassius to come and do the job he could not.Sanction Sam wrote:How you ask? It was something like this.

A combat 3 to 1 which didn't happen, 3 to 1 was when you failed, when Cassius came to your aid, then something happened.Sanction Sam wrote:Yes, against all odds, out numbered and alone, I killed Nemi. I joyously spat in her face and welcomed combat 3 to 1 and emerged victorious!
Oh, I would have stood my ground, and without your foul necromantic training and the fact that Mangor, whom you're bragging to have managed to slay, had gone AFK without my knowledge, you might have seen a different outcome, like you fleeing back into the safety of your camp.Sanction Sam wrote:The battle wasn't over. Yes, it's a glorious day for your dark queen, to see that her minions aren't able to do anything without the help of AA's and mercenary brownnosers...Sanction Sam wrote:What a glorious day for our Dark Queen and the forces of two armies combining their might for the good of the realms!
Considering we had to come to Sanction to even get to engage you, coward, I don't see why this war will end, it's nice to know where you are.Sanction Sam wrote:Perhaps our enemies will see this war against us is futile and will acknowledge their mistakes.

Surrender? Nah, I don't see a minor setback like this as a reason to surrender. We still have our soldiers, while yours tend to ragequit when they die.

Re: War
I'm sorry, I don't speak incorporeal very well. Let me point out a few things.
1. You died before Cassius and Myst arrived.
2. You died to my sword with no aid from anyone else.
3. As poor leaders do, you made a terrible decision coming to Sanction in the first place with active soldiers on.
4. You're only scary easy to kill.
I hope those with cooler heads in the Ranger leadership can see this war is lopsided and has no good end. Nemi is obviously too ill equipped mentally to lead anything beyond her ego.
Take this opportunity to surrender so more Rangers do not die because of her pride.

BDA/AA:
You got me fair and square. I can't whine or complain at all. A kill well-earned. I can spout all I want about being AFK or horribly lead, but you got me. Playing at work on the client during wartime is a risk I knowingly took. No rage-quitting Genesis for me.
Nicely done Cassius and Bromen!

Re: War
Horribly lead is pretty accurate. Glad to see yourself and Aizorana are able to accept defeat graciously. I would hope to see new leadership take over the RoI from the current terrible Captain.Manglor wrote:BDA/AA:
