Code: Select all
For those who are not in the mood to receive affection of intimate nature
(emotions such as flirt, kiss, etc), can now indicate this by using the option
'intimate' on/off. For more information, see the help file on 'options'.

A huge thank you to Mercade for this new options feature and functionality. I requested it from him less than 24 hours ago, and it is now a reality. I wish we had implemented it ten years ago. As many of you have complained to me and other Admin over the years, there are people in our Genesis community who think it is funny to grief players using sexual emotes. This lead to us actually removing emotes like <grope> from existance. That certainly is one way to prevent it, but it removes that emote from legitimate use if people are in a consentual relationship with their gaming intimate roleplay.
So, this option really is what has always been needed. Now, if you are in the mood and with someone you trust and want to fool around with - the option allows it. If you have been called to a post office by some disgusting little newbie troll who wants to fondle you, that person's plan will fail, and you can peer at them stonily and leave without having been felt-up.
The donut is a better place.

Words can't even describe how happy this change makes me.
Gorboth and Mercade- thank you _so_ much.
There are three types of people: those who can count, and those who can't.

i seriously feel sexually harassed by a certain individual that enjoys such activities*
* additionally I am not enitrely sure about his mental condition - therefore I feel threatened
