How about letting DIS affect your efficiency fighting more than one enemy at the same time?
Fighting 3 trolls will simply lower your defence/parry/accuracy if your DIS is low.

Interesting idea, Mim. I think that at the moment, when fighting numerous enemies you are at a disdvantage. Although I don't know what kind of disadvantage. Enemies get more hits in?

Maybe high DIS will nullify this disadvantage?

Yeah, I think giving a bonus (whatever it might be) for high DIS is preferable to punishing those who don't focus on it.

We are back at work on these concepts. You can expect to see some changes in the game after we've gotten it all ironed out.

I'm not going to say more at this time, but suffice it to say that a redesign is overdue.
