Say you are being hunted, it would be nice to be able to run a few rooms and prepare an ambush.
In the sense that you prepare a damage attack to hit with nearly no delay... To make the aggressors have to work for it.
Thinking about autoimpale type hit. Would be separate and stack with other specials.
Then on the flipside when fleeing combat a backhit is possible on those leaving.
Perhaps you had to choose between being pvp aggressive / defensive with a cooldown timer from last pvp combat.
So someone set as aggressor who is caught on the run not get any benefit and could not set ambushes.
This as another global ability to liven up pvp, making combat more like a game of chess (TM - Mithros)

Somehow, this reminds me of the old days, when auto-impale would go off every time and sometimes the person hunting RDA soldier would end up dead from it

I fear no evil for I am fear incarnate.

Laurel (Calian mauler/sb) with Galen once battled Bildor and some PoT (the usual biggie who ran around with Bildor - don't remember the name) in Ithilien
till the fight took place in one room, Laurel got whacked
when I took the fight into movement with correct timing ... Bildor had to retreat

Re: Back Hit / Ambush hit - PVP specials
That would contradict my own thought that the one retreating should be punished for doing so (if you are battling and leave the room, the enemy should have a free hit on you just like Terel NPCs get an antibounce tactic upon entering a room).

No if you are set as aggressive, you get a back hit on those leaving.
If you are set as defensive you get a hit on those arriving to re-attack..
Extra damage all round provided the hunter and the hunted were set as such before the fight began.
To change between the two they would have to wait 5 minutes from last PVP engagement.
Could be a line in the description:
Has a cautious look about them. (Defensive - the default)
Has an aggressive look about them. (Going to back hit anyone who flees them)

Too many abilities removes the fun for me at least.
They can't add everything someone think could be good, I'm already strongly against blocking and with such attacks I would probably be shortlived (playing time) in the realm.
Keep the game clean.
