Greetings All,

The promised details on the RP-event in Middle Earth.

Basics:
- There will be two parallell story-lines run
- Some parts of these stories will cross over into one another

Introduction 1st story-line:

The Logistics Commander of the Dagarim Aran knocked clearly on the door of his
Commander's chamber.
-'Enter.'
-'Sir, we have made all the necessary arrangements for the Banquette.'
-'Invitations have been sent out, orders for food and drink have been sent, we
have prepared the mess-tent for arriving guests'
-'I will just need you to look at the following documents and add a signature
if you find everything to be in order'
-'Naturally Commander, as always I will find it to be in order'
Beregond nodded approvingly at his commander. 'Very good Commander, very good.
I am looking forward to the event.'
-'As am I Sir.'

Hi-lighted information:

-The Dagarim Aran are holding a Banquette in Arthedain - for moral and show of
force (for friendlies as well as foes)
-The Banquette is an official happening and invitations will be sent to
'neutral-good' guilds
-The services of the Shire 'party'-in-game-code will be used for the Banquette
-The Banquette is a PvP-free part of the RP-event
-During the Banquette their will be clues for those interested to join the 2nd
story-line

Proposed RP options (intended only as guidelines):

1. Arrive with your main character, mingle, sip the wine, taste the
delicatesses brought in, tell bad jokes, party-tricks (!?), meet new people,
have fun.
2. Create a second only for the RP-event and read point 1.
3. Create a second only for the RP-event to act a spy for the Witch King and/or
the Dark Lord.
4. Arrive with your main neutral-good character (who is actually a spy -well
done!) and gather intelligence for your true masters.

We warmly welcome authentic ideas for the 1st story-line. Feel free to explore
the possibilities.

Introduction 2nd story-line:

-'Is it true?' The Lord Commander of the Dagarim Aran looked gravely at his
most trusted men. 'Can we believe the information to be valid? Has the Banner
of Arnor been found..'
The nimble Hobbit Scout Commander nodded seriously. 'He is family Sir, and I
trust both his eyes as well as his judgement.'
-'Gentlemen' Beregond gestured, 'this is both good news as well as serious
ones. The enemy will do everything in their power to seize the Banner if they
were to know of its location.'
-'We must keep this in a very tight circle. None of the regulars must hear of
this. Understood?' The Lord Commander looked at each and everyone of his men
for acknowledgement.
The members of the Cordagar all nodded briefly.
-'Good, let us plan the details of this operation, please gentlemen, take your
seats.'
Beregond leaned over the thick oaken table and examined the map rolled-out on
the table in front of him. His Commanders followed suit.
Only one of them leaned forward a bit less, while carefully examining the
focused faces of those around him. 'The Banner of Arnor!' he thought, 'I must
send word to the Witch King immediately...'

Hi-lighted information:

-The Dagarim Aran has been reached by news that the lost Banner of Arnor has
been found by a Stoor Hobbit in the Trollshaws.
-A pick-up team is scheduled to rendevous with the Hobbit in the Trollshaws -
the timing co-inciding with the Banquette
-The forces of the Iron Fortress have managed to place a high-ranking spy in
the Dagarim Aran and the information has leaked into the hands of the enemy
-The 2nd story-line is a open PvP part of the RP-event, if you part-take in it,
be ready to be attacked and possibly killed (in any random way)

Question as well as suggestions can be sent to Beregond via game mail.

Well met!

Sincerely,
Beregond's player
