A bug was reported in the operation of Midnight Black Orbs
in that they could be held and released quickly and still
derive an enduring magical spell effect without occupying a
hand of the caster.
The bug has been addressed by the Arch of Codes and Arch or Domains.
The orbs will still provide the same magical effect, but the
caster must keep hold of it.
Newly found orbs should display this corrected behaviour.
Existing orbs might do so too, or the change may take until
the next Armageddon. Try it and find out.
