Biased Genesis Discord Moderation: Protecting Radatha
Hi everybody,
I've recently had several messages I've posted in Genesis Discord deleted, and I was jailed for reposting, because, despite being within the posted rules, they mentioned Radatha specifically.
Radatha, in a pvp encounter in Sparkle, used <say> while someone else was in the room at Pier 4 to taunt me using real life information they knew about my real life traumas. The comments included reference to another person who I consulted with about the in-game RL taunting and after consideration decided that going to the AoP with the logs would serve only to re-open those wounds for very little purpose.
Why are messages being deleted that aren't against the rules? Why are specific people, and not just all people, immune from being openly mentioned in posts in accordance with Rule #1?

1. You're making biggg unconfirmed accusations about someone, you could very easily be lying, what with not going to AoP
2. It gives off... rage baiting, you want to not just besmirch her reputation, but fight with all her friends because of an alleged event
3. If someone said such massive things against, say, Yeren, they'd likely face similar consequences. It also sounds like you got punished not for saying it but for reposting it.

Hi Qwer,
I'm not particularly interested in whether you believe me or not. Think that I'm lying at your leisure. I put the information out there to be taken for what people think it is worth. You do you.
Cheers,
Hunter

Re: Biased Genesis Discord Moderation: Protecting Radatha
My point is that whether or not what you're saying is true, there's no evidence. It's 100% hearsay, just backed up by you and a couple of your friends. For the mods, and with such heavy accusations, I can't imagine rules where they *wouldn't* be wary of such things, and once it was deleted, you posted it again... they deleted that, now you're posting a 3rd time.
Mod bias doesn't mean they disagree with you specifically, it means sometimes they have to keep you in check, sometimes they don't, based off what *you* do. Whether we like it or not, the mods are very fair, especially these last months (before that you could make some cases that maybe some people [Wolverine] run a lil amok, largely due, not even to mods, but to lack of consistent reporting).
If there was evidence, you'd be talking about facts (still kinda picking fights in a fragile peace), but without it... you're just slinging mud and trying to rile people up. Moderating that is the job.

Re: Biased Genesis Discord Moderation: Protecting Radatha
Regardless of what the mods might or might not have been trying to do they did actually do only one thing.
They deleted a post without informing me, the original poster, that the post was deleted and for what.
Without knowing what rule was broken originally I was forced to make an assumption according to the posted rules of Discord. The assumption that I made was that my post was deleted because it was in the wrong channel so I reposted it in the correct, according to the listed rules, channel.
My second post was both respectful and posted in Debate and Vent (a requirement when posting about a particular player) and was, therefore, within the written rules of Discord.
My post was, a second time, deleted without anybody telling me what rule was being violated or being told by a mod that my post was deleted and why.
I then, assuming that no rule had been broken as I was careful to follow the rules and all directions given from a mod, reposted a third time. I was then asked to alter the post and before having an opportunity to edit my post (which I have subsequently done) I was jailed for being in breach of Rule #5 because, apparantly, an unwritten aspect of Rule #5 is that silently deleting a post without telling the poster of the reason or the rule being broken counts as "tells you."
While I was in jail my conversation with the mod (Harlot) implied heavily that my post was originally deleted because Radatha's reputation has a special place amongst the mods that is not extended to all players. Namely that posts that are posted within the rules but that disparage Radatha, and no other players, are not allowed according to Rule #1.
Discord is not a democracy but why have rules if they are selectively enforced to protect only a select few and not all?
"Rule 1: Be respectful to everyone. Don’t pick on or target others, whether it's related to the game or not. If you have a problem with someone, you can discuss it in a respectful manner within the debate-and-vent channel for in game issues or take it to DM's if it's more personal. Remember, there’s a real person behind every character. Hate speech or slurs (racism, nationalism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) aren’t allowed. Breaking this rule may lead to “jail” (temporary chat restriction) or being kicked from the server if it happens often enough (at the discretion of the admin/mod team). If things get too heated, an admin or mod might ask you to stop or take the conversation to private messages."
"Rule 5: If a mod or admin tells you to stop doing something, just stop. If you think it was unfair, you can send a direct message to the mod/admin team. Arguing about it will only lead to a quicker “jail” (temporary restriction)."
Cheers!

If I said those same things about Yeren or you, I'd get it deleted. They also often have to delete many messages, anything rule breaking, en masse. They've deleted messages of mine without stating why as well. It's not abnormal, they're busy people. You also missed the part where it still has to be respectful in debate and ventHunter wrote: ↑24 Apr 2025 17:34Regardless of what the mods might or might not have been trying to do they did actually do only one thing.

Re: Biased Genesis Discord Moderation: Protecting Radatha
You have a habit of picking on and targeting Radatha and Saya (the players of which have both left the game, so not sure why you still feel the need to put them down... maybe you should look internally, with the help of a licensed therapist).
You've got a serious victim complex with this "biased mod" stuff, Radatha doesn't have special protection, you're just upset that the rules were enforced against you too, the most fair situation possible, Sorry you're taking being enforced so hard.
EDIT: replaced mortals with players, simple thought typo

Re: Biased Genesis Discord Moderation: Protecting Radatha
Hi,
There was nothing in my post that wasn't respectful. There was no name calling or slurs being used. No insults. Just a simple and unembellished telling of the encounter. When did that become disrespectful?
Radatha is a character and not a player. Saya was a character (is no longer a character) and not a player. I have made no negative remarks about Radatha's player as I do not know them. I have only ever commented on Radatha's (the character) behavior in-game.
If you'd like a blow by blow of what I do know about Saya's player (whom I've met in real life on more than one occasion) I'd be happy to speak to you in private.
Cheers!
