Repeated killings for the same offense is griefing. If this happens in the game without some nuance applied by other factors, it either will be addressed by the AoP, or KoG should intervene.
No, repeat killings for the same offense isn't automatically griefing. I would say that quite often it's NOT griefing. Many players have this weird idea that if they kill someone once, the victim can kill them back once, and anything beyond that is griefing. That would actually be a ridiculous rule, and no such rule exist. If someone killed me I wouldn't be satisfied to just kill them back once, since that just makes us even.
"Targeting a
specific player for repeat killings without provocation."

Edit this part of <help rules> to make it more specific, and the players will no longer have such "weird ideas".

TL;DR of Varian's post: Griefing is not real. Multiple kills are allowed completely. Unwarranted kills are allowed completely. If you can dream it in your most sick, twisted fantasy, it's allowed completely.

Here is a scenario someone gave on the politics server that I want your feedback on: Bob gets sent to detention. Bob serves his time, says detention is stupid. Does bob get sent back? Because this whole thing started because Castella was hunted for attacking someone Qwer had no relation to, that was around the same size. RH-Hero. So forgive me, but there are two possible outcomes I see here. Qwer really likes PvP but only when she wins, so she targets people way smaller, or Qwer has a personal grudge and that is why I am targetted. Which one is it? Because one of them is definitely the right one.
Just a game, guys.

Why would you trust someone who is trying to kill you?
Make some friends and get some revenge.
PvP is free and allowed in Genesis. Use that to your advantage instead of hoping that the rules will save you.

If you don't want to stop being kill worthy then become unkillable.

Hey hunter,
I know we never really talked much. I have wierd hours so often by the time i see conversations that are relevant to me the topic has long since changed. but i did read a lot of your posts.

I do hope your life gets better, its a chaotic world rn so it is very understandable to try to take a step back from negativity. The nice thing about genesis is you can lay low here and there even for years and everything will be here if/when you get back.

if you every need to talk feel free to dm me.

Again with the half-truths my friend...

Yes, you let me kill you. That was half your obligation.

You threatened to kill BDA soldiers. I killed you. BUT I also expressed that you must post a formal apology on the General Board in Sparkle repenting for your reprehensible actions.

Odd taunts Bob->Bob kills Odd.
Odd taunts Bob again->Bob kills Odd again.
Odd taunts Bob again->Bob kills Odd again.
Odd taunts Bob again->Bob kills Odd again.
.
.
. At the end, Bob has filled a whole graveyard of Odd's,
and it doesn't necessarily count as harassment.

If Odd never taunted/reacted/triggered Odd again, and
Bob kept killing Odd, then after a few times, that would probably
fall into that category.

Own your actions. Regardless of how angry you are because
the bear(unprovoked)killed you, either don't provoke it again
by kicking it in the nuts and risk being outright slain, or suit up and bring
friends and murder it, and even slay it once more or two for good measure.

Also, there should be exceptions to the harassmentrules if they are related
to ingame lore/reasons. Example: Vampires massmurdering other vampires are just
fine in my book - survival of the fittest.

Cheers!

Genesis….

Causing grown adults to throw temper tantrums for 2 decades…

A shame that some of you have failed to mature emotionally as you age.

It’s a game, and recovery is easy… don’t like fighting? Stay out of high profile guilds or away from certain entities,

The immortals are all out of cheese for your whine.
