Alot of people seem to complain on how "bad" their guild is. Sunds like balance to me?All guilds equally poor.
In a way, I kinda like the guilds with less damage output, like rangers, SS, DO (AA??). The more elite guilds in terms of damage does so freaking much damage not many foes in the realms have a chance, especially with mortal sizes champion+ which alot of people are these days. Atleast being a ranger or similar low-damage guild is more challenging, which actually is the way it should be imho...
But no, lets not get into another re-balancing process. Just a reflection on how seriously big and hard-hitting everyone is these days. I used to fight guards and sivaks in Flotsam, and it was a challenge, and rewarding. I miss those times!:)
What happend is people got freaking spoiled.
I've been in a wide range of guilds during my 12t+ years here and out of all the guilds I've been part of, there's only 2 guild that I would rank higher than Rangers(in coolness and daily game play etc)and those are old Kaheda and Vamps.
I really do not see what people are complaining about really, sure rangers do not pack massive damage, but they have other perks who make getting equipment/playerfighting quite enjoyable.
Rangers are just that a mix between fighter and magic user, they are not suppose to be superior in any of the two branches, but rather just be average in both. And I do think that the guild is just that it got some spells and some fighting skills, just like they are suppose to.
But sure the guild could use and upgrade in some of its abilities and what not, but I just think people are selling the guild short.
Its a really cool guild, unfortunatly its died out due to a crappy recruitment policy/leaders.
but I don't want to give Gorb a reason to delete yet another of my rants about that ...
