Here's the idea for a new craft guild, The Cooks.

Have you ever wanted to eat some kind of food or drink a beverage that just isn't available in the game?
Did you ever wish that food and drinks did more for you than just stuff/intox?
Why not make them yourself?!

The cooks is a craft guild that requires a large time investment (herbing, gathering other ingredients, farming, distilling) but rewards you with "special" foods and drinks if you're skilled enough both for personal use and profit if that would be your choice. It would be yet another true craft guild, besides blacksmiths (can't tell me that gathering herbs and sailing the seas is real "crafting") which could possibly give people something to do besides grinding and stir the genesis economy.

Localization: Hobbiton (obviously)

Skills:
herbalism - superior journeyman (to look for herbal ingredients)
farming - superior journeyman (to grow your ingredients)
alchemy - superior acolyte (to mix your ingredients)
cooking - superior master
brewing - superior master

Abilities:

Farming:
- each cook could grow their own vegetables and herbs that are used in the recipes (have to find them first though)
- skill growing with usage
- skill corresponding to what you can actually grow
- time consuming

Cooking:
- general cooking and baking
- can train skill based on guildstat
- guildstat increases from using this skill only (not from experience)
- higher skill allows for more potent recipes
- some recipes being "enchanted" (boosting stats, regen etc. when consumed)

Brewing:
- as cooking but for beverages
- distilling potent alcohol drinks is a time consuming process

Guild features:
- herb shop
- kitchen supply store (kettles, frying pans, tools, salt, pepper etc.)
- butcher shop (to purchase meat products)
- farming supply store (fertilizers, tools, seeds)
- open stand (where you can leave your goods and everyone can buy them)
- stoves, tables, cold-storage and whatever else might be needed
- small farmland with patches that can be used by cooks

Not a bad idea... I see an influx into said craftsmen guild if they ever run the tree event again.
