Citizens of Sparkle,

When, two days ago, the ground shook, and there was dreadful roaring and
shrieking in the skies, none knew what it could mean. Then, just yesterday
an unknown elf entered the city, stricken with madness and terrible wounds.
He was incoherent, and unable to communicate until our healers had tended
to him overnight. Today, upon awaking, he instantly began demanding to see
me, and I am all too glad that the healers found me at once.

This elf is named Karkadelt, and he has already proved himself a type of
saviour for our City. Were it not for the warnings he gave me, I would not
have had the time to summon Morgan and her Mercenaries to be on hand
when the attack hit the city. For, as you all surely witnessed, Sparkle
was nearly overrun just hours ago by an attack force of many hundreds
of goblins. These were much like what we have experienced in past attacks,
but far greater in number, and with some terrifying explosive powers!
In the end, the enormous colossus orcs numbered in the half dozen, with
many dozens of runt-sized goblins charging around inciting chaos.

The Sparkle City Council would like to extend official thanks to the
following valiant individuals who came to our aid: Amberlee, Targun, Bromen,
Booger, Sharn, Chanele, Salaboa, Eagledead, Rhaegar, Firedancer, Phantom,
Fluffy, Onton, Freya, Kiara, Goul, Johnny, Greneth, Ilrahil, and Hektor.
But more than these, the citizens of Sparkle extend their deepest thanks
and highest esteem to Wolverine, who gave his own life in the defense of
our people. May his deeds be forever remembered in song!

As we work to repair our city from the destruction wrought by these attacks,
we have granted a lot on Old Sparkle Road near to the Public Notary to
Karkadelt. He wishes to establish himself within the city, and will soon
offer his Enchanting services to the populace. I told him it would take
weeks to get the old storage facility converted to a servicable business,
but he just smiled and assured me that I had much to learn about the power
of enchantments. Whatever the case, he claims he will be set up and ready
for business tomorrow. He hopes to have many visitors, so do find him and
help him feel welcome!

To Karkadelt, the Mercenary Guild, and the many allies who came to our
aid, we offer our heartfelt thanks!
