Here are the results of the Fourth Shard Event, held in April 2013.
This year we had 104 players entering the event and getting themselves the
coloured base of an egg. A total of 2748 shards were found by 121 players.
After trading, 1084 shards were glued onto those bases by 63 participants.
This resulted in 24 eggs being completed. The resulting platinum shards were
added to the large platinum egg in the Mvsevm.

For all those mentioned above, a reward is waiting at the AoE office.
The above demonstrates that teamwork and trade pay off. With only finding a
few shards themselves, both Fluffy and Etanukar quickly completed their eggs.
More so than during previous installment of this event, the auction house
played a pivotal role in the exchange of shards. 1898 shards were offered for
sale by 60 players, of which 197 shards found a new owner. Collectively the
shards fetched 3176 platinum coins with a top price of 72 pc for one orange
square eggshard.
Coupons for "a shard of all colors and shapes" were in demand. 34 players
managed to win a coupon from Frydolin. In addition, 6 players paid a whopping
3340 platinum coins for 6 coupons sold via the Auction House.
No fewer than 25 players enjoyed a taste of glue, sharing 50 tubes between
them. Daniel, Pacal, Phantom, Straag, Stromboli and Zar had four tubes each.
