Mages got holes in their robes

Post by Kiara » 28 Nov 2013 04:38

Code: Select all

So I am minding my own business in Sparkle, and suddenly this
black robed orc rushes past me in a hurry. He's all stressed and
in the crowd my arm gets tangled with his, I got knocked
over, and when I finally got back on my legs... I was carrying
this big heavy satchel!

So whats in it you wonder? Well I'll tell you, it was the
yuckiest bag of... yuck and slime and... ugh... well you
get the picture. YUCK!!

All in all this sack contained like... 50-ish body parts of
every type imaginable.

I have no idea whatever use this info may have, but as
always I am sharing everything I find out about the mages!

So.

Mages use leftovers as components for... something. They
seem not to care much which types. As long as they get to
rip body parts from dead things they are happy I guess?
No idea how or what they use them for, but its probably
nothing good!

Not sure how this can be used. Can we gather all leftovers
so they dont get any??? Hm. I doubt it.

Sooo... I tried to trade back this pack for my hoopak that
the same orc (or a similar one) stole earlier from me. The
only reply I got was a scry... so... probably means no?

Hm. So anyway. Thats all I got to report this time. Not
as exciting as last time, but thats it for now!

How 50 body parts can fit one satchel?
Isn't that damn heavy like about 5-10 bodies?

I guess it could be true if it was teeth vs toothfairies..

50-ish of EACH KIND. There were probably at least 500 body parts in there. Maybe more! But if 100 swords can fit in a pack I dont see that as strange. I always assumed we have some type of magic pouches, and packs and satchel that shrink stuff!:)

If you've never played a real caster, then you can't fully grasp how ridiculously far-fetched yet important it is to be overstocked. And Zar, you're not new here, since when did RL common sense apply in Genesis?
