Annual emote and adverb update

Post by Mercade » 28 Dec 2014 17:15

Code: Select all

Greetings,

In this year's emote-update, the following emotes have been created:

acknowledge, breathe, grit, howl, lean, narrow, protest, raise,
snort (now also for non-mages), stagger, yell

The following emotes have been modified in one way or another:

    cross, grope, moan, nudge, touch

As if the list of adverbs wasn't long enough yet, some new have been added:

begrudgingly, blamelessly, festively, furtively, grudgingly, hauntingly,
    insistently, venomously, vociferously

Directions as northward, westward, southward and eastward can now also be used
as adverbs (e.g. peer westward).

A new command 'ashout' is added to shout using an adverb to avoid unwanted
adverb interpretation when you're shouting. It is similar to asay. Syntax:
    ashout <adverb> <text>
    ashout <adverb> to/at <target> <text>

Example: ashout angr Go Away! -> You angrily shout: Go Away!

See the respective help pages for details insofar those aren't obvious.

With regards,

Mercade
