Code: Select all
Greetings,
Observant explorers may notice that appraising various items now gives more
information, as follows:
- weapons give information about the type of damage they will do.
- on corpses you can see what type of damage (from above mentioned weapons)
caused the living to reach its untimely end.
- judge how long torched will burn.
- livings are measured only in weight (no longer in volume).
- for sacks and chests it will give the full weight including its contents.
- see approximately how full a chest is (as certain sacks already showed).
- for food and drinks you may determine the net nutritional value or thirst
quenching liquid volume (that is, not counting the plate or mug) and an
indication of the relative alcohol content (very important for dwarves).
- values are now displayed in higher denominations (not just coppers).
Incidentally, lit torches will no longer be accepted in shops to avoid obvious
problems to shop inventory. This may be circumvented by adding an exclamation
mark to the sell command (like with wielded weapons and full containers).
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
With regards,
Mercade
