Queen Bug Quest Bug? Or Maybe Spawn Problem?

I went to try my hand at killing off the Queen Bug today in the magic garden in Terel and found her guarded by 40, yes 40, warrior bugs.
Unless this is some evil plan by Terel wizards to take over the Donut with a warrior bug army, I'm thinking maybe that's a few too many for this level of quest?
I wasn't sure how much "many" meant...maybe 5 I thought? So I stayed long enough for them to attack to see...and..uh...yeah. Horror.

That does seem like a bug bug! Did you let AoP know?

I did not, but will. Is that were all major bug reports should be going, rather than the "bug" feature?

Deploy judgement If the bug is preventing you to progress with the game, inform AoP. Otherwise bug report.

Yeah, like Mallor said. If it's major and stopping you or someone else from playing/accessing an area/doing a quest, etc, mail AoP. Like in this case. If it's something that isn't urgent, but it's good that wizards know about, use the <bug> command.

I experienced a very similar issue. My computer has a tendency to crash when there are more than 7 creatures in a room that attack me at once. This was no exception. Needless to say, I died because of this bug(s). That death really *stung*. So please fix, and let us know when we can do the quest again without being swarmed.

If a bug (computer bug that is) was the reason you died, the AoP team will most likely restore you if you let them know. Unless this happened a long time ago and you've already recovered of course.

Not that's probably on you I think. If your computer crashes due to your triggers it's really not the game's fault. To know in your particular case you'd have to ask Mirandus and the AoP and explain the situation though, but restorations are generally only granted if a clear bug or issue with the game itself causes a death.
