A quick search on the net revealed following snippet of info:

" ... PHPBB3, which is what's being used here, shows "guest" users that are known search engine spiders as "Google [Bot]" or "MSN [Bot]" etc. It's nothing to worry about, just lets us know that the major search engines are already indexing this board. ..."

So the guest IP of the Googlebot is automatically translated, but it is still a guest account with no access to the registered areas ...

We made it onto the Google search results for "genesis mud forum"!

[Tarax the Terrible]

When I clicked on that search this forum is at the top of the list.
I also tried searching for "genesis mud forums" this site was number 2 and Adriel's number 1.
