Auction Paddle Suggestion - Max Price

Post by Tarax the Terrible » 22 Mar 2010 16:33

Good guess Rhynox, but I know a certain gladiator who usually has a ton of stuff in the AH.

On a side point.
Someone else I was talking to didn't know you could use aulist <item number> to see the full details on an auction including the max price (if one is set).
Didn't know this myself before bringing it up on the last forum.

Perhaps we could modify the help instructions of the paddle to make this interesting fact more unmissable?

I wish the buyout price to be moved to the <aulist> (instead of <aulist item_number>) - that would be really helpful.
It would remove the need to <aulist> each interesting item.

Yeah, whatever you name it - I just wish I wouldnt have to <aulist> each single item on the list to check it.
It is what is interesting to me - I am not going to wait and fight 3 days over one item.

I want it - NOW :D

A great idea! I've added the Max bid to the paddle. Line space is at a premium though, so it may make the display a bit more.. verbose. If folks don't like it, I can revert the changes.

Nice shooting, and good forum management moving the thread and splitting it back..
Determined to make us stay on topic enh?

BTW I suggested this back in January on the Adriel's forum :) http://www.genesismud.net/phpbb/viewtop ... tion#p2984
Not complaining, rather I think its cool that the forum here is getting everyone on the same page.
Good deal..

Not to take this thread off topic again I will start a new one for the other ideas.
Cheers

could the smiths appraisial also be included when you check an item.

The polearm is made to be wielded in both hands.
This weapon could most likely kill with a single swipe.
You should have no trouble handling this weapon--or making a cruel hit with it
for that matter.

smithappraisal on Ah. ? what say you ?

Would give smiths a chance to make some coins..
I’m not a complete idiot. Some pieces are missing.
