I used to play here during the first half of the nineties, when
almost nobody had a cell phone and so on...
Nice to see that there are some players left. At first I was
surprised by the newbie area, though the entire MUD had changed
completely, but after some exploring I have found that some
areas are still the same. Calia etc.
I thought the newbie area was very good BTW.
Also, it seems the player base has matured a little
The first time I played Genesis I was killed about fifteen
minutes after entering the game with my first character, then
about forty-five minutes later I was "vaporized" by a disgruntled
wizard who didn't like that I kept communing my complaints about
this...
(I should add it was a player that killed me)
The almost inexplicable quests etc. are still there. I remember
almost gouging my own eyeballs out from sheer frustration
sometimes. Wonder what happened to all that patience and
determination...
Anyway, have fun you people. I'm not sure how often I'll be
able to play in the future, what with adult life going on and
all.
